Tunnel Project for Royal Norwegian Naval Academy, Bergen

Technology’s Marine Hydrodynamic Division is delighted to announce the
successful negotiation and signing of a contract with NDLO (Norwegian
Defence Logistics Organisation) to supply a new Cavitation Tunnel type K23 to
the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy in Bergen.
The tunnel is to be
equipped with additional instrumentation comprising various propeller
dynamometers as well as a hydrofoil/rudder balance and is expected to be used
for both Teaching and Research applications
The contract is a
turn-key project with a value of around £1,000,000 pds sterling and is expected
to be completed by September 2011
