Following their recent acquisition of the business of Kempf & Remmers GmbH, Cussons Technology is pleased to announce the opening of the Kempf & Remmers Marine hydrodynamic Division located within the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency (DERA) Science Park, Haslar, at Gosport in the United Kingdom.
The Marine hydrodynamic Division of Cussons Technology is dedicated to the marketing and supply of the existing range of Kempf & Remmers products, and to the research and development of new equipment and systems to meet the widening demands of the marine and its related industries. The location of the new office at the DERA Haslar Science Park - a world acknowledged centre of excellence within the field of Marine Technology - is therefore most appropriate. Furthermore, in addition to the new division's strong in-house management and internationally respected scientific team, a close working relationship has been established with Hamburgische Schiffbau-Versuchsanstalt GmbH (HSVA) in Hamburg. This combination of experience and scientific expertise results in the new Cussons Technology Marine Hydrodynamic Division being able to offer an unbeatable standard of service to its customers.
Kempf & Remmers have been the market leaders in the design and manufacturer of major hydrodynamic test facilities and associated instrumentation systems for over 50 years. The opening of the Haslar office therefore demonstrates the commitment of Cussons Technology, itself a major designer and manufacturer of specialist educational and engineering test and research facilities, to the continued development of the Kempf & Remmers business and its many existing and future customers world-wide.
