Required to support advanced engine test programmes on power units equipped with electronic fuel/ignition management systems, this rig was designed to deliver air to the engine under test with strictly controlled but selectable settings of ambient temperature, pressure and humidity The design of the unit required extremely compact packaging in order to achieve the necessary standards of mobility, the rig was entirely self-contained and included dehumidification, refrigeration, heating, steam generation and injection, pressure control and air flow measurement. The rig was remotely controlled and equipped with comprehensive instrumentation systems and condition monitoring.
